In our 4 hour session, 10.00am - 2.00pm, you will be making a girls dress (from age 1 to 6) with a facing, using a Butterick pattern.

You will learn to:

                       Read a sewing pattern

                       Cut out fabric

                       Use appropriate interfacing

                       Attach a facing

                       Sew a machine buttonhole

Butterick sewing pattern, interfacing and refreshments are included.

You will need to bring:

                               For sizes 1 - 3, 0.7m of 115 cm or 150 cm wide cotton fabric

                                         and       0.4m of 115 cm or 0.3m of 150 cm wide contrast cotton

                               For size 4,       0.8 of 115 cm or 150cm wide cotton fabric

                                         and       0.4m of 115 cm or 0.3m of 150 cm wide contrast cotton

                               For size 5,       1m of 115 cm or 0.8m of 150 cm wide cotton fabric

                                         and       0.4m of 115 cm or 0.3m of 150 cm wide contrast cotton

                               For size 6,       1.2m of 115 cm or 1m of 150 cm wide cotton fabric

                                         and       0.4m of 115 cm or 0.3m of 150 cm wide contrast cotton

                               2 x 15mm buttons

                               Matching thread
