So summer is cooling down :(
But the good news is, our Autumn fabrics are arriving!!
Our first delivery from Spain, is a mixture of sewing inspired cotton prints & viscose twill prints.
The cotton prints are 100% cotton, 150 cms wide, & a sewing lovers dream! Passion for Sewing incorporates sewing themed motifs, in a multicoloured print and co-ordinates with our Buttons & Tape Measures cotton prints. Great for clothing, bags, & home decor projects.
Viscose Twill, is a heavier viscose with a diagonal texture in it's weave and 100% viscose & 150 cms wide.
Four different prints, but with the same softness & drape, perfect for your autumn wardrobe.
Next came a big box from Germany!
So from left to right - we've 3 viscose prints (140 cms wide), a big bold patchwork print, a delicate mustard floral print & a pretty golden stem print. The navy/blue linen/cotton (145 cms wide) mix has a lovely grid like weave and the olive retro print (148 cms wide) on a viscose jersey, drapes beautifully! The subtle floral motif in blue & mustard, on the black ponte roma (150cms wide), would make a beautiful skirt, dress, jacket... (I'm quite keen on that one!) It would also co-ordinate well with the 2 cable quilted jerseys (150 cms wide), in dove & washed yellow. Finally, the wonderful pink/yellow boucle fabric (155 cms wide), is a wool/polyester/acrylic mix, which would make a wonderful statement jacket for a dull autumn/winter!
